Strawberry Panna Cotta Recipe

I’ve always loved the delicate, creamy texture of panna cotta, and adding the sweetness of fresh strawberries makes it even more irresistible. This recipe is simple to make, elegant, and perfect for any occasion!

An Irresistible Dessert

If you’ve seen my Matcha Panna Cotta recipe, you’ll know how much I adore this creamy, smooth dessert that melts in your mouth.

Panna cotta has always been one of my favorite desserts to experiment with, as it’s so versatile and easy to customize.

This strawberry panna cotta is another variation that I love—it’s a perfect combination of a rich, creamy base and the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries.strawberry panna cotta 1

For this recipe, I used homemade strawberry jam that I made a few days ago.

If you’d like to make your own, check out my Homemade Strawberry Filling for Cakes for a detailed step-by-step guide.

Using fresh, homemade jam takes this dessert to the next level, but store-bought jam works as a quick alternative too.

After making the milk mixture, I carefully strained it. Straining is an important step—it removes any impurities or undissolved particles that may remain after heating and mixing.

Skipping this step might result in a less refined texture, so I highly recommend taking the extra minute to strain the mixture.

Unlike my Matcha Panna Cotta, where I inverted the panna cotta onto a plate for serving, I chose to keep this strawberry version in its original container.

The reason? I added a luscious strawberry topping that stays beautifully in place and creates a striking visual contrast against the creamy base.

The vertical layering of the panna cotta and strawberry topping looks elegant and allows you to fully appreciate the vibrant colors.

Of course, you can always customize the toppings to your liking—fresh fruit, chocolate shavings, or even a drizzle of honey would all work wonderfully.strawberry panna cotta 3strawberry panna cotta 2

The panna cotta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 days. Add the strawberry topping just before serving for the freshest taste.
