For the Strawberry Jam
- 600 g strawberries
- 120 g granulated sugar
- 20 g lemon juice
For the Matcha Liquid
- 3 g matcha powder
- 50 g hot water 70–80°C
Other Ingredients
- 200-300 ml milk adjust to container size
- ice cubes as needed
Prepare the Matcha Liquid
Add 3g matcha powder to a small bowl.
Slowly pour in 50g of hot water (70–80°C) to avoid bitterness.
Stir quickly in circular or zigzag motions to dissolve the powder completely. Skim off any foam with a spoon.
Assemble the Strawberry Matcha Latte
Take a glass or bottle and spoon in 2–3 tbsp of cooled strawberry jam. Spread the jam along the sides of the container for a decorative look. Adjust the amount based on your taste preference.
Add a layer of ice cubes and pour in milk until the glass is two-thirds full.
Slowly pour the matcha liquid over the milk. If desired, gently stir with a chopstick for a marbled effect.
